PAINT RESTORATION

Paint Correction
Toronto

Swirls, scratches, oxidation — machined out, not hidden. The paint you forgot was under there.

What Is Paint Correction?

Defects removed, not filled

Paint correction is the physical removal of clear-coat defects using graded polishes and machine pads. Swirls, scratches, water spots, and oxidation are levelled out of the clear coat itself — they are not filled, masked, or hidden under a glaze that washes off in a month.

True correction is a multi-stage process: compounding for the heavy cut, polishing to refine, and finishing for clarity. A single-step polish can lift gloss and remove light marring, but it cannot match the depth and defect removal of a proper two- or three-stage correction. The difference is the difference between "cleaner" and "new."

At Evolve, every correction is performed in a climate-controlled bay inside Hotel X Toronto, under consistent lighting and temperature. Pairing the work with a ceramic coating afterward locks in the gloss and stops the next round of swirls before they start.

Swirl Removal

The holographic webbing daily washing creates — machined out of the clear coat, not buried under filler.

Scratch Refinement

Fingernail-test scratches reduced or removed entirely with the right pad and polish combination.

Oxidation Lift

Faded, chalky paint brought back to depth and color — the way it looked when it left the factory.

Clarity & Gloss

The deep, wet look every exotic owner wants. Reflections sharpen, color darkens, gloss multiplies.

Paint Thickness Checks

We measure clear coat depth before we cut. No guessing, no over-polishing, no burned edges.

Coating-Ready Prep

The only safe base for ceramic coating or PPF. Locking defects under a coating preserves them forever.

The Process

Four steps, one obsessive standard

01

Inspection & Measurement

Paint depth gauge readings, bright-light inspection, and a defect map so we know exactly what we are working with.

02

Test Panel

We prove the cut on a single panel before touching the rest. The right pad and polish combo, dialled in first.

03

Correction Passes

Compound, then polish, then refine — one panel at a time. Methodical, measured, no shortcuts.

04

Final Inspection

Verified under multiple light sources, wiped with IPA to strip oils, then protected immediately to lock it in.

Paint Correction FAQ

Straight answers for Toronto car owners

The correction itself is permanent — once defects are physically removed from the clear coat, they are gone. What matters is what you do next. Protecting the corrected paint with ceramic coating or PPF keeps it looking that way for years. Without protection, daily washing and weather will start re-introducing swirls within months.
