What Is Paint Correction?
Defects removed, not filled
Paint correction is the physical removal of clear-coat defects using graded polishes and machine pads. Swirls, scratches, water spots, and oxidation are levelled out of the clear coat itself — they are not filled, masked, or hidden under a glaze that washes off in a month.
True correction is a multi-stage process: compounding for the heavy cut, polishing to refine, and finishing for clarity. A single-step polish can lift gloss and remove light marring, but it cannot match the depth and defect removal of a proper two- or three-stage correction. The difference is the difference between "cleaner" and "new."
At Evolve, every correction is performed in a climate-controlled bay inside Hotel X Toronto, under consistent lighting and temperature. Pairing the work with a ceramic coating afterward locks in the gloss and stops the next round of swirls before they start.

Paint depth gauge readings, bright-light inspection, and a defect map so we know exactly what we are working with.
Test Panel
We prove the cut on a single panel before touching the rest. The right pad and polish combo, dialled in first.
Correction Passes
Compound, then polish, then refine — one panel at a time. Methodical, measured, no shortcuts.
Final Inspection
Verified under multiple light sources, wiped with IPA to strip oils, then protected immediately to lock it in.
