Detailing Toronto
Soft factory paint, high-swirl environments, and a studio that knows the difference.
Tesla in Downtown Toronto
What a Tesla Needs
Tesla factory paint is measurably softer than most other luxury brands. Model 3, Y, S, and X paint is known for being swirl-prone, chip-prone, and vulnerable to the kind of contamination a Toronto winter throws at it. The flat-black roof panels on Model 3 and the matte-finish elements on Plaid trims add specific care requirements that a generalist detailer misses.
We service a high volume of Teslas because of our location. CityPlace, Liberty Village, King West, and Harbourfront have some of the densest Tesla ownership in Canada — and most of those cars live in underground parking with drive-thru-wash habits that the paint cannot tolerate. Ceramic coating and paint correction on a Tesla is not optional; it's the difference between a five-year-old car that still looks new and one that looks ordinary.
Every Tesla that comes through our bay starts with paint thickness measurement, a panel-by-panel light inspection, and a conversation about how the car is washed and where it's parked. The service plan comes after — not before.
Tesla-Specific Challenges
What owners deal with — and what we build the service plan around
Soft clear coat
Tesla paint is softer than most German or Japanese competitors. Swirls form faster. Drive-thru washes are particularly damaging. Hand-wash-only is non-negotiable.
Condo parking scuff
Most Teslas downtown live in underground condo parking. The low approach angles and tight cornering make rocker-panel and front-bumper scrape a real risk on Model Y and Model 3 Performance.
Flat-finish roof panels
The flat-black roof on Model 3 and the finish on Cybertruck panels need coating-safe cleaning. Traditional polishes and most over-the-counter waxes damage these finishes.
Autopilot sensor cleanliness
Cameras on the B-pillars, front bumper, and windshield need to stay clean for Autopilot to function properly. A proper detail includes clearing all sensor zones.
Non-standard interior materials
Tesla uses vegan leather, glass roof, and open-pore wood trim. Each needs a different cleaning approach. Over-the-counter auto interior products often damage these surfaces.
Supercharger dust
Heavy Supercharger use near highways (Gardiner/401) means more bug residue on front fascia, more rock chips, and more dust buildup. Maintenance interval should be tighter than for a non-EV.
Toronto Presence
Where Tesla Owners Find Us
Tesla has deep ownership concentration across CityPlace, Liberty Village, King West, Harbourfront, and CityPlace condo buildings. Tesla owners are also among our most common Signature and Collector monthly members because the cars require more maintenance than most owners initially plan for.
Services We Recommend for Tesla
Ordered by what a typical owner benefits from first
Paint Correction
Tesla's soft paint accumulates swirl marks faster than any other mainstream luxury brand. A single-stage correction before ceramic coating is essential — not optional.
Ceramic Coating
The single best investment for a Tesla owner. Stops drive-thru swirl damage, protects against Supercharger bug residue, and makes the weekly wash take half as long.
Paint Protection Film
Front bumper, hood leading edge, and rocker panels on Model 3 and Model Y take heavy chip damage from highway driving. Targeted PPF is the standard upgrade.
Interior Detailing
Tesla vegan leather and glass roof need coating-safe cleaners. A proper interior service includes UV protectant on the glass roof and leather conditioner.
Toronto Weather Guarantee
Ten Days. Rain, Snow, or Salt Spray.
If snow, heavy rain, or salt spray hits your car within 10 days of your exterior service, bring it back for a free re-wash. We detail in a Toronto climate — our guarantee matches it.
Tesla Maintenance
A Plan That Matches the Car
For daily-driven Teslas, our monthly memberships — Express $199, Signature $349, Collector $599 — cover the frequency most owners actually need. For seasonal cars, one-off Diamond details plus storage prep is usually the better fit.
Tesla Detailing FAQ
The questions we hear most from downtown Toronto owners
Absolutely — Teslas are among our most common ceramic coating clients. Because Tesla paint is softer than typical luxury paint, proper prep (paint correction + decontamination) is especially important before applying the coating. Our Essential ($899), Professional ($1,499), and Elite ($2,499) packages all work on Tesla paint.
