Why It Matters

A Stored Car Needs More Than a Wash

Most owners pull the cover off in April, run the car through a drive-thru, and call it done. A drive-thru wash after six months of storage is one of the worst things you can do to paint — the contamination bonded to the clear coat over winter needs to be chemically lifted, not scrubbed with nylon brushes over dirty recycled water.

A proper spring reveal is a full reset. Iron remover pulls bonded particles out of the paint. Clay bar lifts embedded contamination. A single-stage polish removes any light cover-contact marks that accumulated during storage. Ceramic topper refreshes hydrophobic behaviour if the car was coated. Interior dehumidifier packs come out, leather gets conditioned, and glass gets polished.

The result is a car that looks and feels the way it did in November, only fresher. For collector and weekend cars, that first clean-road drive of the year deserves nothing less.

What Every Spring Reveal Includes

Six anchors that every reveal service is built around

Decontamination wash

Iron remover, tar remover, and clay bar treatment to lift every piece of winter contamination that settled while the car sat — even under a cover.

Paint inspection + correction

Every panel inspected under proper lighting. Light cobweb marks from cover contact or micro-scratches from storage are removed with a single-stage polish.

Ceramic refresh

If your car was stored with ceramic protection, we apply a ceramic topper in the same product family to restore full hydrophobic behaviour.

Interior reset

Steam clean, leather conditioning, glass clean, and dehumidifier removal. The cabin gets the same reset the exterior does.

Wheel + tire detail

Wheel face polishing, tire dressing, pressure check, and visual inspection for flat spots from storage. Your car is ready to drive home the same day.

Documented handoff

Every spring reveal service includes a documented write-up: paint thickness (for tracking over years), work performed, products used, and photos.

Spring Reveal FAQ

What clients ask when booking the reveal

A spring reveal is a full decontamination and correction detail for a car coming out of winter storage. Even under a cover in a heated garage, a stored car accumulates micro-contamination, cobweb marks from cover contact, and interior moisture buildup. The reveal resets all of that so the car looks showroom-fresh for the first drive of the season.
