How the handoff works

Most concierge pickups are coordinated through your building's valet or concierge desk. You call or text us the day before, tell us which building and what time. Our driver arrives at your condo's valet entrance, signs in with your concierge, takes the keys, drives the car to Hotel X, and logs it into the bay. Work starts immediately. When finished — same day for most services, next morning for overnight coatings — the car is driven back, handed off to the concierge, and your keys are returned to your unit via the building desk.

What it costs

Our concierge pickup runs $40 for a standard downtown pickup as an add-on to any paid service. For Signature and Collector members ($349 and $599 respectively per month), downtown concierge is included. That is the real value of membership: the logistics service is bundled into the monthly rate so the incremental cost of a detail is zero in time and money above the membership itself.

Competitors charge anywhere from $50 to $100 for concierge service in Toronto, and some of the larger brands only offer it to subscription members. The price range is driven mostly by distance and season — summer weekends get more expensive everywhere.

What concierge does not cover

  • On-site detailing — we do not bring equipment to your driveway or garage. The work happens in our bay at Hotel X, not in your building.
  • Pickups outside the downtown radius — we extend to Forest Hill, Rosedale, the Annex, and the Beach on request with a surcharge. Anything further is a fleet conversation.
  • Same-day coating pickup — ceramic coatings need 24 to 48 hours to cure in the bay. Concierge returns happen the day after.
  • Cars with known mechanical issues — we do not drive cars with brake problems, steering issues, or known drivability problems. Flatbed tow is available on request.

Why the hotel address matters for this service

Hotel X is purpose-designed for moving cars in and out fast — it is a downtown hotel with valet infrastructure, covered drive-up lanes, and 24-hour security. That means our concierge hand-offs at the studio end are seamless — the bay is three minutes from every major downtown condo and restaurant, and the hotel's own valet staff are used to coordinating with external transport. A suburban detail shop does not have that infrastructure and can not offer the same quality of concierge service.
