Ceramic coating is a thin, glass-like layer that bonds chemically to your clear coat. It makes paint hydrophobic (water beads instead of soaking in), easier to wash, more UV-resistant, and noticeably glossier. The product is only 20% of the job — the prep, polish, and panel-by-panel application is the other 80%, and that’s where most "ceramic coatings" go wrong.

For a downtown owner who can’t hand-wash in a driveway, ceramic coating is the only real way to keep paint looking new long-term. One application gets you years of low-maintenance shine and a much easier maintenance wash schedule.
